Plans (module bundles)
A plan is a named bundle of modules that you assign to organizations. An organization can use every module in its plan, plus any extras switched on directly for it. Plans are separate from member Groups, which control what people inside an organization can do (Permissions and groups).
Where to find it
Admin sidebar โ Organization โ Plans (/admin/groups; the address still says groups for old links). Page title Plans.
Create a plan
- Click New plan. A panel opens beside the table.
- Enter a Name (required) and optionally a Description.
- Tick the modules the plan includes. Custom framework classes that can be granted are also listed.
- Click Create plan. A message confirms Plan created. Editing an existing plan says Plan saved.
The table shows each plan's modules and Used by (the organizations on it). The row menu has Edit plan and Delete plan. Saving a plan that removes modules, or deleting a plan, first shows which organizations would lose modules, with a Keep these as extras option. Deleting confirms with Plan deleted.
Assign a plan to an organization
- Open the organization โ tab Modules & plan.
- Pick the Plan from the dropdown (or No plan).
- A dialog Switch to ... lists any modules the organization would lose, with Keep these as extras ticked by default.
- Click Switch plan. A message says Plan updated.
Tips
- Plans are live: changing a plan affects every organization using it, so check Used by first.
- Extras switched on directly for one organization stay on top of its plan.
- Core modules that are never gated stay available regardless of plan.
