Goal: every time an order is created, everyone in the organization sees a bell notification.

Steps

1. Go to Automation > Workflows and click Create Automation.
2. Automation Name: Notify on new order.
3. Trigger Event: order_created. Tick Organization-Wide so orders created by any user trigger it.
4. Skip Conditions, or add one (for example a status equals value) to narrow it down.
5. Add Action > Send In-App Notification. Set Send To to Everyone In The Organization, and fill in Notification Title and Notification Message.
6. Keep Enabled on and click Create Automation.
7. Create a test order, then open Automation > Run Log and look for order_created with status Success.

Variations

• Use order_status_changed plus a condition to notify only on a certain status.
• Add a second action, Send Email, for the sales manager.
• Swap the action for Create Ticket to open follow-up work.

Tips

• Test with notification first; it has no external dependencies.
• If the log says No Match, the workflow is paused or uses a different trigger.
